World Series by Renault

The creation of the World Series by Renault in 2005 marked an important stage in the history of Renault Sport. This completely new meeting concept, combining top class motorsport action with attractions and events for all the family proved to be an immediate success, attracting almost 1,200,000 spectators in its first two year.

Top class motorsport action

Created as a result of the merger of the Eurocup Formula Renault V6 and the World Series by Nissan, the World Series Formula Renault 3.5 is the flagship category of the World Series by Renault meetings.

Considered to be the best entry-level single-seater, Formula Renault 2.0 is also to be seen in action at the World Series meetings in the Eurocup FR2.0.

Specially designed for the World Series by Renault meetings, the Eurocup Mégane Trophy features some fantastic 330bhp cars that are somewhat reminiscent of Germany’s famous DTM touring cars. The championship is also highly competitive, since the best drivers tend to have previous experience in single-seater racing.

Formula Renault 2.0, Formula Renault 1.6 or Clio Cup national championship races complete the racing schedule at each meeting.

F1: the star attraction!

The World Series by Renault meetings give spectators a unique opportunity to admire the 2006 World Championship-winning R26. After seeing it up close in the paddock, they can hear the deafening noise of the V8 engine during on-track demonstrations.

World Series by Renault: it’s for everybody… and it’s free!

A dedicated children's area, concerts organized in the Paddock, "road safety" workshops and autograph-signing sessions with drivers, as well as access to the Pit Lane and the Start Grid are just some of the exclusive attractions and activities on offer to spectators who simply won’t have a minute to get bored!

And best of all, all this is free for everyone who attends, for the entire weekend!
