The Team
Fortec Motorsport Ltd was established in 1996 by Richard Dutton.
It was originally based in Grantham, Lincolnshire before moving to it's current location in Daventry in 1999.
The team has competed in a number of high-profile championships including Formula 3, Formula 3000, Formula Renault, Formula BMW and more recently Formula Renault 3.5 Series.
Fortec Motorsport has achieved successes including pole positions, fastest laps, race wins, & driver and team championships.
With 18 years of involvement in motorsports, businessman Hj Mohamed Fauzy Abdul Hamid under his company Mofaz Group has made a giant step through the acquisition of Fortec Motorsport , one of the participating team in the World Series by Renault 3.5. The investments on the team has made MOFAZ Motorsport became the first Asian company to own a team in championship.
