About Sten
Sten Pentus was born in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn. He started his racing career in go-karts, participating in classes like Raket and ICA Junior. Being evaluated as one of the most perspective young drivers in Estonia, he participated in different international competitions in Finland and Denmark to gain experience.
Sten Pentus is a multiple Estonian and Baltic Formula Champion.
The first international experience in racing for Sten was in the International Polo Challenge final in Italy, Vallelunga circuit, which he finished 2nd, and in Nürburgring annual 24h race from which he had to retire due to the technical problems while his team was holding first place in their class.
Also he has driven in the Formula ADAC BMW Championship the Formula Renault 2 .0 Eurocup and Formula Renault 2.0 UK.
In 2008 Sten tested in the GP2 series and in the World Series Formula Renault 3.5 to gain experience and prepare for the 2009 season.
2009 Season Sten joined Mofazfortec to compeet in the Formula Renault 3.5 Championship. 2009 was the first proper season Sten had in his career in international racing level.
2010 Season Sten continued his racing in the Formula Renault 3.5 category with Fortec Motorsport Team. Sten finished 4th in the Championship
2011 Season Sten joined Epic Racing team in the Formula Renault 3.5 category.
